After my initial attempt to start a chapter in the northeast, I realized it was better to concentrate on my home territory. Response from my mailing list has been good and we now have a nice core group planning activities for the NEW YORK CHAPTER of the McKenzie International Travel Club. We are proud that we are the first east coast chapter and feel we are off to a good start.

Our first “Get Acquainted” Campout is planned for June 6-8, 2008 at Wood stream Campground in Gainesville, New York. Gainesville is in a rural area of “Upstate NY”, located just west of Letch worth State Park and Dam; perhaps an hour and a half from famous Niagara Falls; and about an hour from either Buffalo or Rochester.
