NEW YORK CHAPTER

Since all the chapters for the McKenzie International Travel Club are on the west coast, I thought it was time to get something going on the east coast! I contacted the club and received approval and help from Jean Raabe (Oregon) and several other club members.

In October, I sent out letters to 75 new McKenzie owners in 10 of the northeastern states and now I am working on a second mailing. The majority seem to be from New York (my state) and Massachusetts, with a few from each of the other states. I’ve gotten positive response from a few people willing to help me organize so we’ll be working through the winter months. My hope is to have a “get acquainted camp out” in late spring or early summer 2008. It would be fun to meet other McKenzie owners and spend a weekend sharing information and campfire stories.
